The Westwood, Modena, Sadsburyville and Cochranville Fire Companies were dispatched to the 100 block of Corbit Way in the Brook Crossing Development of East Fallowfield Township Monday afternoon for a structure fire. The call came in at 1544 hours, Deputy Chief Scott and fire apparatus from all companies made an immediate response.

Once inside crews reported moderate smoke conditions and quickly located and knocked down the fire located on division 1 in the C/D corner.

Engine 37-2 arrived second due at 1555 hours and firefighters stretched a second line to the number 2 division to check for extension. Firefighters also conducted a primary and secondary search of the structure with finding no occupants inside.

Engine 31-1 arrived third due at 1558 hours and began positive pressure ventilation to remove the smoke from the residence after the fire was deemed under control at 1600 hours. Tanker 27 arrived at 1558 hours and stood by for a water supply, but was not needed.
