On Saturday October 18th the Modena Fire Company volunteers were gathered at the station doing a chicken BBQ fundraiser around 12 noon when they were alerted to assist the City of Coatesville on a working house fire on Chestnut Street.

The fire was upgraded once Ladder 41 arrived with fire showing on the alpha side floor two. Modena unit made the response and on scene assisted city personnel with overhaul, and ventilation.

Modena units remained on scene for approximately one hour before returning to station.
