On Friday evening May 8th 2015 the Modena Fire Company was dispatched along with Rescue 38 and Medic 93 for a reported accident with entrapment on South Bailey Road in East Fallowfield Township.

Engine 37-3, Ambulance 37-1 were first units on scene with one vehicle on its side and one operator trapped. Modena personnel started stabilizing the vehicle and gaining access to patient. Rescue 38 arrived and both Modena and Thorndale crews worked together to extricate the patient quickly.

The operator was then taken to a local trauma center for evaluation. Fire personnel controlled hazards and broke down the rescue operations getting all equipment back in service.
