On Wednesday February 1, 2017, the Modena Fire Company was dispatched at 0936 to a reported accident at Strasburg Road and Beck Drive in East Fallowfield Township.

Ambulance 37-1 was first to arrive and reported one car on its side with one trapped. The assignment was then upgrade to serious which added Rescue 44.

Engine 37-1 and Traffic 37 made the response.

Prior to fire apparatus arriving the EMS crew did a quick evaluation of patient and determined they were not hurt just stuck in vehicle, the EMS crew gained access to vehicle by removing the front windshield at which time the patient self-extricated themselves from the vehicle.

Deputy Chief Willmott then recalled the rescue truck as there was no need for their services.

Apparatus remain on scene while the car was up righted and removed from the highway.
