On the evening of May 6th, at 6:06 pm, Modena Fire Company received an unexpected call while concluding a High Angle Rescue operation. This time, the alert was for a building fire in Coatesville City. Engine 37-1 promptly responded, staffed with a dedicated crew of four firefighters, accompanied by Battalion 37 (Reason) and Assistant 37 (Bryant). Utility 43 arrived on the scene, reporting visible smoke, and swiftly declared a working fire.

Assuming their assigned position, Engine 37-1 acted as the third due engine on side C of the building. The team efficiently stretched a second line to the fire floor, aiding in the firefighting efforts. Alongside their fellow responders, the crew diligently assisted in opening up the fire floor to gain control over the situation.
