On Thursday evening November 16, 2023 the fire company received a visit from East Fallowfield Cub Scout Pack 219. This visit had been planned for several weeks with the sole purpose of talking to the kids about fire safety and basic first aid.

The evening started with firefighters going over fire safety, home evaluation plains then firefighters demonstrated putting their gear on and showing how an air pack works and then showed the scouts show more equipment on the Squad truck. At the second station our EMS Staff and went over medical things like bleeding control, splinting, burns, poisonings, and more including some of the EMS equipment.

Each group spent about 20 minutes at each station

The Modena Fire Company would like to thank the pack leaders of 219, the parents, and most of all the Cub Scouts for their visit and wish them all a safe and happy holiday season.
