On the morning of Saturday, December 2, crew members gathered at the station around 8 o'clock to complete the final preparations on the apparatus for the annual Coatesville Christmas parade.

By 9:15, the team had lined up and proceeded to First Avenue, the designated staging area. Here, they enjoyed camaraderie with many other local fire companies before the parade's commencement at 10 o'clock.

This particular parade holds a special place in our traditions as it is the one event where we encourage families of the crew to participate, marking the start of the holiday season. All six pieces of our apparatus were fully staffed, accompanied by the crew members' spouses and children.

Additionally, we had two firefighters, FF Moyer and Mullen, walking along the parade route. They interacted with the community, taking photos and engaging in conversations. They also had the opportunity to speak on air with the parade committee towards the end of the event.

As always, the parade was a delightful experience for everyone involved.
