Firefighter Keanu Mullan Graduates Fire 1

On Wednesday evening, May 22, many families, officers, and members traveled to the Chester County Public Safety Training Center to attend the Graduation of Firefighter Keanu Mullan, for the completion of Fire 1.

The Graduation started with the Chester County Emerald Society Bag and Pipe Band and the West Chester Fire Department Color Guard presenting the Colors and a salute to the flag.

After a few words from the lead instructor and the class speaker it was time to receive their certificates. One by one each student came up and were presented their certificates by a person or persons of their choice and given a chance for photos. Following each student was presented with a challenge coin of St. Fluorine by the County Fire Chiefs Association.

Firefighter Mullan was presented his certificate and a new front for his helmet by Chief Corle and Captain Rogers.

Shortly after the Ceremony, the new firefighters were sworn in by reading the Firefighter Oath.

Lastly, Class 2401 was dismissed.
