On June 20th at 1:22pm the Modena Fire Company along with mutual aid were dispatched for a house for in Modena Borough. Initial report was fire coming from the rear of the resident. Deputy 37 (Corle) arrived to find the fire had been extinguished by the Teenager that was home who was alerted by working smoke detectors that had been going. Deputy 37 held it to Engine 37-2 and Ladder 41-1 crews took a water can to the cabinets to put the remainder of the fire out and opened up and check for hotspots. Power to the house was secured and fans were placed in service to help with ventilating the house. Crews were on scene for over an hour.
