The Modena Fire Company is currently seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as Part-Time Firefighters. This position is responsible for performing various firefighting, emergency aid, hazardous material, and fire prevention duties. Firefighters work under hazardous conditions and perform duties in the protection of life and property.

**Qualifications:**
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must have 5 year experience driving large fire apparatus
- Must be a high school graduate or possess a GED.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass a thorough background check and drug screening.

**Required Certifications**
- Firefighter 1 and 2
- Pumps 1 and 2 or Pumper Driver Operator
- Basic Vehicle Rescue
- Hazardous Materials Operations
- NIMS 100 through 800
- Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), with up to dated required classes..

**Physical Requirements:**
- Must meet local, state, or federal physical guidelines for firefighters.
- Ability to perform strenuous or peak physical effort during emergency, training, or station maintenance activities for prolonged periods of time under conditions of extreme heights, intense heat, cold, or smoke.
