Accident With Entrapment In East Fallowfield Township

On September 11th, 2024, Westwood Fire Company were dispatched to the 600 block of Buck Run Road in East Fallowfield Township for an auto accident with reported entrapment. Deputy 44 arrived and confirmed 1 subject was trapped and assumed the command for this incident.

Engine 37 was in the area clearing a medical call and was advised to respond to assist Rescue 44 with the extrication. As additional units arrived the crews worked collaboratively together to quickly extricate the subject which was handed over to the EMS crews for a further evaluation.
