On Tuesday October 22, 2022 the Modena Fire Company received word that we received two more grants from Senator Carolyn Comitta and supported by Representatives Dan Williams.
With the help of Modena Borough these grants were applied for earlier this year, and as she has always done the Senator and Rep. Dan Williams fought for funding to go where it's needed Emergency Services.
As you may recall this is the 2nd year in arrow that we received 2 grants from the Senator, last year was to replace our rescue tools and the purchase of a New Tanker which is due in early 2025.
This years round of grants was lead toward EMS and will replace some out dated equipment and help purchase two new ambulances.
The officer and members of the Modena Fire Company would like to again Thank Senator Carolyn Comitta Representatives Dan Williams for their continued support not only to Modena but to Emergency Services in general.
Below is off the Senators Facebook Post:
Whenever we need them, Chester County police departments, fire companies, and emergency first responders are there to provide life-saving services.
That's why I am happy to secure new state funding for our local emergency service providers to purchase new equipment and support our first responders.
This round of funding will help purchase: - New fire apparatuses for the The City of Coatesville and Goshen Fire Company - A new tanker for Malvern Fire Company - A new ambulance and medical & EMS equipment for the Modena Fire Company Station 37 - New equipment for the South Coatesville Police Department
I was glad to work with Rep. Dan Williams, Rep. Chris Pielli, and Rep. Kristine Howard to deliver this funding in support of the health and safety of our communities. |
