Second Working Fire in Branford Village Section of East Fallowfield in a Week

The Modena Fire Company along with mutual aid was alerted at 0904 hours to Arden Lane in the Brantford Village section of East Southfield Township for a house fire.

Engine 37 arrived on scene laying in and taking first due engine followed by Ladder 41 taking first two special, Squad 37 taking second due engine and Engine 44-5 taking third due engine.

Crews quickly made their way to a bathroom with fire was burning in a exhaust fan up in the ceiling. Crews quickly opened up and control the fire with a extinguisher and checking for further extension.

The fire was quickly placed under control holding it to 37 44 and 41. Keystone and Salisbury hung around for a few minutes to assist with packing supply line and hand lines back on the engine.

This is the second fire in a week in the Branford Village section of East Fallowfield. Both fires were quickly brought under control due to the quick thinking of homeowners, making a quick hit on the fires with extinguishers prior to evacuating their homes.

Fire marshal‘s were called to the scene for investigation. Belfor was also alerted to assist the homeowner with cleanup..

Modena units cleared to scene at 0957 Hours.
